Cooking to turn back time
We have imagined recipe books inspired by Gallic feasts, medieval banquets or popular French cuisine of the 1930s — to rediscover the diversity and richness of cooking in a cauldron.
These recipes are the result of a reconstruction effort based on available archaeological and historical knowledge, in order to get as close as possible to the eating habits of the three periods mentioned, as revealed by history and science today.

Our blend of herbs from Gaul
We have also recreated a blend of aromatics: The Breath of Cernunnos .
This blend was specially designed, in collaboration with the Herboristerie du Vieux Nice , to suit cooking in a cauldron — that is, preparations simmered over a wood fire.
Our blend of herbs from Gaul consists of seeds, plants, flowers and berries historically present in the territory of Gaul before Romanization.
The chosen species are attested by paleobotany and by the current natural distribution of native European taxa.
