Aromates pour cuisiner au chaudron

Gallic Herb Mixture—80g

Rediscover the taste of Gallic cuisine!

Cernunnos' Breath is a blend of aromatic herbs inspired by Celtic traditions, reflecting the dietary practices documented in various parts of Gaul before Romanization. It is therefore ideal for cooking in cauldrons and simmered dishes .

Through this unique blend of twelve plants — seeds, herbs, leaves, flowers and berries — we celebrate the breath of Cernunnos , the Celtic stag god, who unites all beings in the cycle of life.

Ingredients :

Thyme, nettle, sage, bay leaf, fennel (seeds), mint, juniper berries, marigold flowers, mallow flowers, chamomile flowers, hyssop, wild garlic.

This blend of aromatic herbs from Gaul was developed to enhance slow cooking and reveal the rich flavor of stews, broths and casseroles.

Aromatic character:

Herbaceous, resinous, aniseed and floral profile.
The blend develops a tonic base of thyme and sage , softened by the floral roundness of chamomile, calendula and mallow.
Fennel and juniper berries bring a warm, woody note, while nettle and mint offer a balancing vegetal freshness .
The whole is structured, long on the palate and stable when cooked , ideal for dishes simmered in a cauldron , where the aromas diffuse slowly in the animal or vegetable fats.
